We collect personal information from the following categories of sources:
We collect and use personal information for the following business and commercial purposes:
Stinger Industries does not sell your personal information. We have not sold personal information of California consumers in the preceding twelve (12) months, and we have no plans to do so.
Stinger Industries does not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for the purpose of cross-context behavioral advertising as defined by the CCPA.
We may disclose personal information to our service providers and contractors who perform services on our behalf, subject to written contracts that restrict their use of the information to the purposes specified in our agreements. Such disclosures are not considered "sales" or "sharing" under the CCPA.
As a California resident, you have the following rights under the CCPA:
You have the right to request that we disclose to you the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources from which the information was collected, the business or commercial purposes for collecting the information, and the categories of third parties with whom we share the information.
You have the right to request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions provided by law (such as where retention is necessary to complete a transaction, detect security incidents, comply with legal obligations, or for other purposes permitted under the CCPA).
You can exercise this right yourself, immediately, from Settings: re-enter your current password to confirm, and your login, sessions on all devices, personal account preferences, and your own chat history are deleted at once. Your name is also removed from your own existing audit-log entries, replaced with "deleted user" -- the security events themselves are retained as a business record. If you are the sole owner of a business account that has other members, you will be asked to promote another member to owner first. Deleting your own account does not delete business records (customers, invoices, proposals, jobs, photos, documents, etc.) that belong to the business account as a whole; those can be requested separately using the contact information below, subject to the exceptions above.
You have the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information. However, as stated above, Stinger Industries does not sell personal information. If our practices change in the future, we will update this notice and provide a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link on our website.
You have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any of your CCPA rights. We will not deny you goods or services, charge you different prices, provide a different level or quality of service, or suggest any of these actions as a result of your exercising your privacy rights.
You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information that we maintain about you, taking into account the nature of the personal information and the purposes of the processing.
To the extent we collect sensitive personal information as defined under the CCPA, you have the right to limit our use and disclosure of that information to purposes necessary to perform the services you have requested. At this time, our collection of sensitive personal information is limited to account credentials necessary for authentication.
To exercise any of the rights described above, you may submit a verifiable consumer request to us by:
You may only make a verifiable consumer request for access or data portability twice within a twelve (12) month period. The request must provide sufficient information to allow us to reasonably verify that you are the person about whom we collected personal information (or an authorized representative) and describe your request with sufficient detail to allow us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.
Upon receiving a request, we will take steps to verify your identity before processing the request. The verification process may include:
If we cannot verify your identity, we may deny your request. We will inform you if we cannot verify your identity and explain the basis for the denial.
You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. To do so, you must provide the agent with written permission signed by you, and we may require the agent to submit proof of their authorization. We may also require you to verify your own identity directly with us and confirm that you provided the authorized agent permission to submit the request. We may deny a request from an authorized agent who does not submit proof of authorization from you.
We will acknowledge receipt of your verifiable consumer request within ten (10) business days and provide information about how we will process the request. We will respond to a verifiable consumer request within forty-five (45) calendar days of receiving it. If we require more time (up to an additional 45 calendar days), we will inform you of the reason and the extension period in writing. Any disclosures we provide will cover the twelve (12) month period preceding our receipt of the verifiable consumer request.
In compliance with the CCPA, we will compile and disclose metrics regarding consumer requests received, complied with (in whole or in part), and denied during the preceding calendar year on an annual basis. These metrics will include the median number of days within which we substantively responded to requests. This information will be made available upon request or published as required by applicable regulations.
We engage the following categories of service providers who may process personal information on our behalf in order to provide our services:
Each service provider is bound by contractual obligations to use personal information only for the purposes specified in our agreements and in accordance with applicable law.
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to satisfy legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Specific retention periods include:
We reserve the right to amend this CCPA Notice at our discretion and at any time. When we make material changes to this notice, we will notify you by posting the updated notice on our website with a new "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services after any changes to this notice constitutes your acceptance of those changes. We encourage you to review this notice periodically.
